Terms of sale

These terms govern every sale of MILADY products made through this site to consumers. Placing an order implies full acceptance of them. The seller is Globalink Trade, Société à responsabilité limitée (SARL), a French limited liability company, share capital EUR 20,000 (fixed), registered office 22 rue Pierre Curie, 50120 Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, France, SIRET 989 205 844 00016, RCS Cherbourg 989 205 844, intra-community VAT number FR29 989 205 844.

Extra virgin olive oil — superior category olive oil obtained directly from olives and solely by mechanical means. Origin: Tunisia. Two oils are offered: one conventional extra virgin and one certified organic extra virgin (Organic AB / FR-BIO-01, Ecocert France). Product photographs are illustrative and are not contractual.

Prices are shown in euros, inclusive of applicable VAT, excluding delivery costs which are shown before the order is confirmed, along with the applicable VAT rate. The seller may change prices at any time; the price applied is the one displayed when the order is placed.

Orders follow the double-click process required by Article 1127-2 of the French Civil Code: the customer reviews the basket, corrects any error, accepts these terms, and confirms the order with the obligation to pay. Confirmation is sent by email.

Payment is taken at the time of the order through our WooCommerce checkout, using Stripe (card) and PayPal. Card details are handled solely by those payment providers and never by this site. The payment methods actually available are those shown at checkout.

We deliver worldwide. Delivery costs are calculated and shown at checkout, and delivery is free above 100 in the store currency. In accordance with Article L.216-1 of the French Consumer Code, the seller delivers at the latest on the date indicated at the time of the order and, failing that, within thirty days of the order.

Risk of loss or damage passes to the consumer when the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer, takes physical possession of the goods (Article L.216-4 of the French Consumer Code).

Consumers have 14 days from receipt to withdraw without giving a reason (Articles L.221-18 et seq.). Sealed bottles of olive oil are not treated as perishable goods and the right applies to them in full. You have 14 days to return an unopened, sealed bottle. For hygiene and food-safety reasons, opened or unsealed bottles cannot be returned or exchanged. Full conditions and the standard form are on the Right of Withdrawal page.

The seller is liable for defects of conformity under Articles L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, for two years from delivery, with no cost to the consumer. The seller offers no commercial guarantee in addition to the legal guarantees; only the statutory rights described here apply.

The consumer may also rely on the guarantee against hidden defects under Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code, within two years of discovering the defect.

In accordance with Article L.612-1 of the French Consumer Code, the consumer may refer a dispute free of charge to a consumer mediator after a written complaint to the seller. These terms are governed by French law. Consumers retain the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence and may bring proceedings before the courts of that country or of the seller's registered office.
