The MILADY family in their olive oil house, surrounded by bottles and olive branches

Our Story

Four generations of olive oil. It is in the blood.

MILADY is a family olive oil house from Tunisia. Extra virgin, cold-pressed, and made by people whose family has done nothing else for four generations.

1957

Generation 1

The first olive growers in the family, in Tunisia. They planted, they picked, they pressed. Everything this house knows began in their hands.

1970

Generations 2 and 3

The craft was handed down twice over, from parents to children and on again, down to the parents of Firas and Emma. Nothing written, nothing sold as a method — simply the work, repeated until it was in the blood.

1996

Generation 4

Firas and his sister Emma inherited the passion the way the others did: not as a business plan but as something already in their genes. They carry it now, with the papers and the analyses their ancestors never needed to prove what they already knew.

Today

MILADY

The culmination of that transmission — the moment a family craft becomes a brand, carried by Firas and Emma. Three vessels: BADR in glass, ASSIA in matte black, BAYA in white food-grade clay. Four certifications, and an oil with its numbers printed beside it.

The family gathered beneath an olive tree in the grove, sharing a meal in the shade

Two lands, two oils

The house works two distinct lands

Each land gives its own oil: one conventional extra virgin, one certified organic extra virgin. Both cold-pressed.

Conventional

Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Our conventional extra virgin olive oil, cold-pressed and drawn from one of the two lands the family works.

Certified organic

Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Our certified organic extra virgin olive oil, cold-pressed and drawn from the second of the two lands.

Proof

Documented, audited, verifiable

Four certifications, three measured figures, and one certified production and bottling site behind every bottle.

  • Organic AB / FR-BIO-01

Certified by Ecocert France, for the organic extra virgin oil.

  • Halal

    Certified.

  • Kosher Star-K

    Certified.

  • ISO

    Certified.

Free acidity (oleic acid)
0.1%

Free acidity indicates how well the fruit was handled and pressed.

Peroxide value
1.2 meq O2/kg

Peroxide value indicates primary oxidation, so a low figure means a fresh oil.

Hydroxytyrosol and derivatives
At least 5 mg per 20 g, i.e. at least 250 mg/kg

The measured polyphenol content of the oil, documented by laboratory analysis.

Production, bottling and export are handled by a certified site in Tunisia.

Three vessels, one house.
